Going to a new salon may be intimidating & trusting a new stylist can be hard. Even though we are not inside a traditional salon environment, we have created a studio to be a relaxing, judgment free experience customized just for you. Here’s some additional information to help make your first visit as seamless and comfortable as possible.

Email & Text Notifications


You will receive both a text and an email confirmation 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment, containing all the necessary details regarding your visit. Additionally, a reminder will be sent to you 48 hours before your appointment to ensure you don’t forget. The day before your appointment, you'll also receive a form that allows you to select any desired amenities to enhance your experience. After your appointment is complete, you can expect to receive emails that include comprehensive aftercare instructions and follow-up information, all designed to assist you in your new healthy hair routine.

We are conveniently located in Downtown LA at 877 Francisco St., inside the vibrant Salons By JC. When you arrive, you can easily park in the Metropolis parking structure.

Don’t worry about the cost – we offer validation for just $6, which allows you to park for up to 5 hours.

Plus, if you are a member, you can enjoy free parking.

If the door is locked 

If your appointment is after 6pm the door will be locked please check in from your phone or send a message to let us know you have arrived. 

Your stylist will come meet you at the front door of Salons by JC.

  • If you have twist or braids please have them taken down before your appointment. Don't worry about shampooing your hair, that's what we are here for. 

  • Your first session will be the longest if you are getting a H.A.S.A and style in the same day, so please be prepared.  

  • As your appointment concludes, we’ll create a maintenance plan and home care routine together, so you feel great about your hair until your next visit. Every new client gets a customized routine to help them achieve their Healthy Hair Goals. Our curl clients typically visit bi-weekly or monthly. Loc clients receive a re-tie or re-twist every 2-3 months , with a loc wash session in the months between.

  • Before you leave, you'll be offered to join the Healthy Hair Membership or become a Package Holder for the convenience of your future visits. Your journey toward your dream hair is ongoing, and we’re here every step of the way.

Expect to be pampered with complimentary drinks, snacks, and seasonal amenities of your choice. Whether you prefer coffee, tea, mimosas, or another beverage, we’ve got you covered. Your session is customized to fit your vibe—whether that’s listening to your favorite music, watching shows, or enjoying a peaceful, silent session. We accept all major credit cards, along with convenient payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as traditional cash. However, please note that payments via Venmo or Cash App are not permitted.

Cancellation 

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 30% the price of your scheduled appointment.


Late Arrivals 

Services for clients running late will be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time without adjustment to pricing. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and Cancellation Fees will apply.


Adjustments

We strive to offer our guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut, or style let us know within 3 days of your visit and we are happy to correct any reasonable issue at no additional charge.
