Hair has always been my passion, starting from when I was a young kid styling my dolls' hair with Vicks Vapor Rub. In high school, I became the go-to person for my friends' hair, and I went straight to cosmetology school after graduating. Over the past 16 years, I’ve been dedicated to helping people embrace their natural hair textures, providing an alternative to the many places that focus on covering up our beautiful, natural hair.

I specialize in natural hair styling because I believe in teaching my clients how to love and care for their hair. It doesn’t have to be a chore—hair care can be a joyful part of your routine. I’m committed to being on this journey with you, celebrating every milestone, like being able to put your hair in a puff or a bun for the first time.

My philosophy is simple: I believe in doing hair with integrity, prioritizing the health of your hair above all else. I want you to achieve beautiful results with as little damage as possible, ensuring that every strand is cared for.

Having faced my own challenges with stylists who didn’t understand my hair, from complaints about its thickness to damaging bleach jobs, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find someone who truly gets it. That’s why I’m here—to provide the care and expertise that I was searching for.

Known as the “Knot Whisperer,” I have a knack for detangling even the toughest knots with ease. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at some of the most popular salons in Los Angeles and am proud to have over 60 Healthy Hair Members who trust me with their hair journeys.

When I’m not in the salon, you can find me indulging in my love for Sims 4, crafting, exploring new foods, or diving into discussions on various topics with an open mind. I’m a poly-purist when it comes to music and love discovering new sounds. My goal is to create a space where you feel listened to, cared for, and inspired to embrace the beauty of your natural hair.

From the bustling mornings at Starbucks to the creative chaos of film production, I’ve always been drawn to spaces where vision and teamwork come together to create something special. With over a decade of experience across various industries, I bring a unique perspective to Serenity Locs and Curls. Whether it was crafting the perfect cup of coffee as a shift supervisor or producing stories that came to life on screen, I’ve always been passionate about creating environments where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

It’s this passion that drives my work at Serenity Locs and Curls. As the COO and General Manager of Store Locations, I’m not just managing the business—I’m helping to shape its soul. I believe that true beauty starts from within and that a brand rooted in integrity can inspire confidence in every client who walks through the door. For me, it’s about more than hair; it’s about fostering a culture that celebrates natural beauty, supports its stylists, and prioritizes the well-being of everyone involved.

My vision for the brand is one where stylists have the freedom and support to do their best work and clients leave not only looking beautiful but feeling empowered. Every decision, from the way the salon is designed to the values we uphold as a team, is a reflection of this mission.

Outside of the salon, I’m a storyteller at heart. I find joy in the pages of fantasy books, the immersive worlds of narrative-driven video games, and the transformative power of a good movie. I believe in living a balanced life, one where work and passion coexist harmoniously. It’s a philosophy I carry into my work, encouraging everyone around me to find their own rhythm and thrive both in and out of the salon.
